After the November TREZOR finally started shipping the Model T for those who pre-ordered. Initially they were planned to be shipped in January according to the blog post, but delays like these are common among cryptocurrency related hardware manufacturers.

The new hardware wallet also runs on a new firmware that has been written from scratch and is labeled TREZOR Core. It is open source and easy to build on in case developers want to play around with their coin additions. The model also comes with an SD card slot for data encryption and an USB-C, which is suited for the current trends.
